Dog Obedience Questions
Q: What type of training is offered?
A: The dogs are evaluated and a customized training program is developed to deal specifically with the problem area.
Q: Where does the training take place?
A: Training will take place at A Dog's Haven. The dogs can either come weekly for training or can be left at A Dog's Haven for intense training.
Q: How is this different from group training courses?
A: This training is designed for people who are having problems getting their dog into a group training course. The goal is to prepare the dog for group training.
Pet Sitting Questions
Q: What type of pet sitting is offered?
A: A Dog's Haven customizes the care that your dog will receive by emulating your home environment. This allows the dogs to come here and feel like they are in a home setting.
Q: Will my dog be crated or caged?
A: Only if your dog needs to be crated for safety or other related reasons. We try to give the dogs as much freedom as they are comfortable with in their own home.
Q: How much playtime will my dog receive?
A: This is part of the customization for each dog. We will give as much playtime as the dog and owner are comfortable with. For example, a young dog may enjoy playing most of the day on a pretty day where an older dog may only want 10-15 minutes.
